So what is your advice then, if I am generally interested in Economics as a conversation/information source, but I don't think it will benefit me in my career (as an engineer pursuing an MBA at UofU)? If I don't want to be a politician and am not likely to be a professor, much less an econ. professor, what benefit can economics give me personally/professionally?
